Big-screen adaptation of the renowned comic book of the same name.

Boule dreams of having a dog. The red-headed boy is overjoyed when his mother (Marina Foïs) organizes a surprise visit to the SPCA, much to the chagrin of his father (Franck Dubosc) who doesn't want anything that sheds in the house, especially once he decides they're moving to Paris for professional reasons. In a tall apartment building in the grey suburbs, Boule and his parents get a new start, one that is not very favorable for the antics of the new member of the family: Bill the dog. So the little guy bends over backwards to make himself loved by Boule’s grumpy father...

This movie adaption of the adventures of Boule & Bill, drawn by Jean Roba, is a sad caricature of one of our time's most famous duos. There isn't much room for any real adventures in this story narrated by the renowned pooch. Both children and fans of the series are sure to be left speechless by the lackluster performance, but it may get a few yaps from four-footed friends of those who watch in on TV in the future.
