Short description
Camille is a 40-something actress who struggles to get small roles to meet the hourly quota necessary for receiving state support. When her high school sweetheart – and father of her daughter – leaves her, Camille is completely stunned and goes on a bender, having suffered from alcoholism since the death of her mother 25 earlier. On New Year's Eve, she changes the battery in the watch given to her by her parents on her 16th birthday, which they got from a watchmaker (Jean-Pierre Léaud) who tends to offer enigmatic quotations. At midnight, she passes out from the booze and wakes up in the hospital, where it's suddenly 1985 and her parents have come to pick her up. Camille gets to relive high school and meet the father of her child... for the second time.
